Bom Dia de Sao Valentim!
Just another quick Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! Here it's o Dia de São Valentim (I'm guessing you can guess what that means), but more commonly, o Dia dos Namorados (namorado means boyfriend, while namorada means girlfriend. In this context it means boyfriends/girlfriends. Same as the word for brothers (irmãos) is the same as for siblings, and the word for parents (pais) means fathers. So most people, when they're speaking english, say "My fathers went on vacation..." for example. It's funny.)
A big obrigada to my "pais" for the wonderful sweethearts. Everybody at school today loved them!
Saturday we go to Italy! To the north to go skiing for the week. I'm really excited!

Oh my goodness, I finally found your blog! Awesome awesome my dear... I'd love to hear how the skiing in Italy turns out. We just got our first snow day of the year here, and it's been very cold, but finally the sun has started to come out again and it's in the 30s today. I'll keep checking back, and glad to hear it sounds like you're having fun!
